Reading Update

hazmatFinished: The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency by Alexander McCall Smith
A television series (joint venture by the BBC and HBO) was based on this book/series of books, and I can see why! Not only are there some great characters here (especially the main character, Mma Ramotswe), but the book itself is set up as a series of short "episodes" with a longer overarching metaplot. Excellent structure for a television season, in other words.
Next up, a book my husband recently finished and has been raving about, Altered Carbon by Richard K. Morgan. Cyberpunk, yay!
